Enterprise/Edu Customers: End users can now access NetSim over the internet
We support two licensing formats:
Cloud License: TETCOS manages the license servers on the cloud. Customers do not manage license servers, Host IDs or dongles. End users need internet connectivity when they run NetSim.
On-premises: For customers who want to host the license server in their organization.
In both options, NetSim runs locally on a PC/VM.

What is NetSim Cloud?
NetSim cloud is a hosted, managed license server that Tetcos (the developer of NetSim) provides to customers. Customers no longer manage dongles, MAC IDs and other license server issues. In NetSim cloud, Tetcos LLP manages the license server hosts that run the license server processes for our customers. It is a license-as-a-service offering, with no license server for customers to install.
How does it work?
You receive a secure FTP download link for NetSim and a single license file. Each NetSim user in your organization must download the NetSim software and the license file. All users share this license file. After installation, each user puts the license file in the NetSim install directory. Users need internet connectivity for the full time that they run NetSim. The number of licenses purchased sets the maximum number of simultaneous users.
Can customers view the license usage of their organization?
NetSim includes a Customer Portal, where customers can view the licenses and servers of their organization.
How do I control access to NetSim?
In the NetSim cloud portal, customers can edit the options file of each of their license servers. The options allow access (INCLUDE or INCLUDEALL) or prevent it (EXCLUDE or EXCLUDEALL). You can INCLUDE or EXCLUDE by user, host, group or IP address.

What happens if my organization’s users do not have internet connectivity?
In this case, deploy a normal on-premises NetSim license server. The software then works fully locally. Customers must choose the cloud or the on-premises license server option before deployment.
